New in 2025: small group retreats

In 2025, Villa des Abeilles will focus even more on a new target group. My guest rooms are already regularly used for individual retreats (see Individual retreats Morvan – Villa des Abeilles), and in addition to yoga retreats, I will now organise small-scale group Morvan retreats.

These retreats are open to everyone, including people with no or little experience of meditation. I offer these in Dutch / French / English / German.

5-day retreats

These are 5-day retreats for 3-5 participants. Three people share a luxury appartment (at 200 metres) with three bedrooms, two participants get a guestroom (Rooms – Villa des Abeilles) in my Villa des Abeilles Morvan. Everyone will have their own room.

The exact programme is currently being put together, but will at least consist of three meditations daily (mainly sitting meditation, but also meditation in movement and dance), as well as writing assignments and sharing moments. The meditation room can be used throughout the day. Individual talks can be scheduled on request.

Naturally, the stay includes a good, varied breakfast (and the possibility to prepare a lunch) and healthy and carefully prepared dinner.

Plenty of free time, hiking opportunities and (from May) a heated swimming pool 200 metres away.

Yogaretreats

The yoga teacher has extensive, international experience and teaches various forms of yoga. Because she adapts to the experience and fitness level of the participants, her yoga classes are suitable for everyone.

Yoga instructions are given in English. Other communication can also be in Dutch, French, German or Turkish. Should we get enough applications from one country, it will be a separate yoga retreat Burgundy in that language + English.

My meditation room can be used unlimitedly throughout the day, as well as my various gardens with lots of privacy ánd the heated swimming pool (also at 200m.), which is open from May to September.

Lots of hiking possibilities nearby, beautiful views.

Gift for each participant: a one-hour (!) head massage.

Celebrating life

Because life may also be celebrated during a retreat, there will be a wine tasting (included). A wine expert will pour 7 different wines (and explain their origin, etc.). Matching snacks will be provided.

Wednesday 23 April - Sunday 27 April OR) Wednesday 30 April - Sunday 4 May,
Wednesday 21 May to Sunday 25 May (FULL) and Wednesday 28 May - Sunday 1 June,
Wednesday 18 June - Sunday 22 June.

Further dates (from September) will follow as soon as possible.

These retreats have an attractive price, especially for Dutch standards, also because I want to make retreats possible for more people:

Price when staying in private room in luxury appartment: € 316.
Price when staying in private room in my house: €276.

Possibly you can combine this retreat with a visit to Paris, reachable by TGV in a few hours.
